CITY BAND
Full Description:
The Appleton City Band has represented the City of Appleton for over 60 years. The concert
band performs free outdoor concerts every Tuesday starting June 12 through August 14 in
Appleton’s Pierce Park, under the direction of Ivan Spangenberg. Bring your lawn chair and
cooler. Everyone is invited! The Appleton City Band is sponsored through a generous
donation by the Appleton Area Jaycees.
When: Tuesdays, June 12 - August 14 at 7:00 p.m.
The Appleton City Marching Band, under the direction of An Gehrman, also performs at
the following events:
May 28 Memorial Day Parade
June 9 Flag Day Parade
July 10 Joint concert with the Air National Guard Band of the Midwest
Nov. 20 Appleton Downtown Christmas Parade
